NOTE FROM THE COMPOSER

I am in that photo somewhere, writing a new song as I march. I create fully inclusive music for LGBTQIA+ and queer voices, with the queer baked in. Authentic, inclusive songs specifically for and about our LGBTQIA+ community.

Heteronormativity is baked into so much music. As queer singers, we know we can do better. As trans voices, we know we deserve better. That’s the place I write from.

Songs that reflect our voices — not retrofitted, not adjusted — but written with LGBTQIA+ experiences at the core. Why keep reworking songs when we can sing authentic, resonant music that is about us?
